Cookware is the heart of our site. Everything has been chosen with quality in mind and you'll find SKK and Woll non-stick pans from Germany, Chasseur Cast Iron, stunning Emile Henry Ceramics from France and Le Pentole Stainless Steel classics from Italy. We've also introduced two very affordable stainless steel cookware ranges, Swift SG that features silicone 'stay cool' handles and the very stylish Charterhouse cookware. Both are induction hob compatible and won't break the bank in these hard times.

Our Bakeware section includes traditional top quality bakeware from Alan Silverwood, together with very useful items from Bakers Pride. Pictured left is our springform cake tin with glass base which allows you to cook and serve on the integral glass base. We have also added a range of silicone bakeware which is amazingly flexible ensuring easy release, no pick up and transfer of food taints from one baking session to the next and is naturally non-stick.

We chose OXO Goodgrips for most of our gizmo's, gadgets and measuring items. OXO Goodgrips tools are of superb quality and each item invariably has a 'twist' making them so much easier and more reliable than conventional tools. Whether it's just a potato peeler that's more comfortable to hold, a chopping board that folds away when not in use, or a measuring jug that you can read by looking down from the top, OXO tools are a boon to any serious cook.

When you want to get serious about measuring you'll not find better than Bengt Ek (pronounced BEN TEK). We stock a wide range of these beautifully designed and Swiss engineered items to solve any weighing timing or temperature measuring task. Featured in the picture left are our new digital clock / scales ensuring accurate measuments when the dollop and dash approach is not quite good enough!

Our Kitchen Knives are from J A Henckels of Germany, IO Shen of Japan, OXO Goodgrips from the USA and Arthur Price of England. Whilst at the high end of the price range both our Zwilling JA Henckels and our fantastic new IO Shen knives offer great value for money. Both will last for years, are beautifully balanced and come in a range of styles to suit every taste. OXO Goodgrips and Arthur Price provide more affordable knives which are nonetheless very high quality and stylish.

We started the trolley and kitchencart section of our web site with Legnoart of Italy. Legnoart Trolleys are simply beautiful, designed to look great and last a lifetime but we confess that this does come at a price! So we have now added more affordable but still beautifully engineered trolleys from UK suppliers Eddingtons and T & G Woodware and USA suppliers Catskill and John Boos who manufacture superb butchers blocks. There's even one in The White House!

With the revival and recent interest in Asian cooking inspired by Ching - He Huang we have added the latest products from Ken Hom. Ken Hom, famous from his many TV appearances now produces a range of cookware including authentic Chinese Carbon Steel Woks and the easier to use non stick versions. We have also added the Swift Spice brand to the Kitchen Shop ensuring there's everything you need to create an authentic Asian meal including non-stick and carbon steel woks, wok sets (ideal for gifts), bamboo steamers, chopsticks, spice sets and even asian style balti serving dishes for the final flourish.
